Game Gym raises more than $4,000 for Children’s National Hospital

The esports company also crowned the spring season winners of the Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference at its annual Spring Summit

 ROCKVILLE, Md. — APRIL 5 – Game Gym, a leading youth esports camps and programming provider, successfully raised more than $4,000 at its annual Spring Summit event, benefitting the Children’s National Hospital.

Game Gym has raised more than $34,000 to benefit Children’s National Hospital since the Triple Crown Event Series launched in 2020.

“Every year we look for new ways to benefit the kids at Children’s National Hospital,” Game Gym CEO and Founder Josh Hafkin said. “We’re proud to continue supporting the life-changing research at Children’s National and thank all of our incredible partners and donors.”

The Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference, co-founded by Game Gym and Events DC, also crowned its champions at the Spring Summit event. George Mason University won the Capitol Division of the MAEC Rocket League competition, Randolph Macon University won the Challenger Division of the MAEC Rocket League competition, and the University of North America won the MAEC League of Legends Competition.

Game Gym’s Spring Summit was powered by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association, Wizards District Gaming, Washington Justice, HyperX, MedStar Health, University of Maryland’s Discovery District, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and Gamer Advantage Eyewear.
