  • $37,000 total raised since 2021 for Children’s National Hospital, funding research using video games to assist in rehabilitation programs for children.
  • 11+ thought-provoking and compelling presentations and panel discussions.

  • 4 thrilling end of season championship tournaments for the Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference, in League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Rocket League.
  • $3,000.00 in total prize money, plus tons of great gear from HyperX.
  • 2 action-packed days, presented by Game Gym and hosted live at Shenandoah University.

We have many partners to support the event, outstanding education and entertainment content, thrilling competitions, and lots of prizes! The Spring Summit is a celebration of esports for kids, parents, and gamers of all ages, with everything broadcast on Twitch, and live at Shenandoah University. Again this year, the Spring Summit will feature:

  1. End-of-season Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference (MAEC) championship: the “final four” teams from our 13 member schools competing for the crown in League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Valorant, and Rocket League
  2. Educational interviews: interactive interviews broadcast throughout the event on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23

Benefitng Children's NationalTo date, we’ve raised more than $36,000.00 for the Children’s National Hospital, while bringing awareness to the esports opportunities here in the DMV. Since last year, all money raised by Game Gym for Children’s National will be used to fund research using video games to assist in rehabilitation programs for children.

Throughout the Spring Summit 2-Day Charity Event, we’ll be covering topics for kids, parents and gamers for all ages about “Gaming is More Than An esports” and “Take Your  esports to the Next Level.” You’ll be able to watch interviews from our MAEC Universities & Colleges administration and students as well as other esports professionals. Join us live or online on April 22 and 23!
