We are excited to announce the Game Gym’s Spring Speaker Series!
Once a month, we will be bringing in special guests who touch the world of video games in different and interesting ways. It is our goal to provide our members and families with resources and different points of view so that we can continue to learn and grow.

We are starting off with a bang! The VP of Marketing at Bethesda Softworks, Pete Hines, will be joining us at the Gym Friday, February 22nd from 6:00-7:30 PM. Pete is a legend in the video game industry, a marketing wizard, and father. He will be joining us to talk about careers in the video game industry and how to navigate being a parent of gamers. Sebastian Salazar – Host, Reporter, & Play-by-Play Announcer for ESPN

A bi-lingual and multitalented reporter for ESPN, Sebastian Salazar, will be stopping by the Gym to talk about the differences between traditional sports and esports, the life of an on-air personality, and where he the sports and esports worlds heading. Sebi’s career has taken him from the pitch to the Little League World Series and he has conducted interviews with everyone from esports entrepreneur Andy Dinh of Team SoloMid to USA Soccer legend Landon Donovan. Dr. Cliff Sussman – Gaming & Technology Addiction Specialist

Dr. Cliff Sussman is one of the premier video game addition specialists in our area. He will be coming by the Gym to talk about how our brains work, the science behind why it is important to put the game down, and give us tools to help combat technology addiction.
