Tournament Organizing Intern
About the Position: Game Gym is looking for two Tournament Organizing Interns to help build out and execute Game Gym’s tournaments. This internship requires knowledge of competitive esports, great customer service skills, and a cool head under pressure. You will work closely with Game Gym’s Head Tournament Organizers to make all of our competitions a success.
About you: You love competitions and the excitement and pressure that goes along with them. You are passionate about community engagement and make sure each participant has a great experience.
Events Intern (2 open positions)
About the Position: Game Gym is looking for an Event Intern to help build out and execute Game Gym’s Summer Bash Championship. This internship requires a little bit of everything from speaker recruitment, event scheduling, business development, to marketing and creative, to tournament organizing. You will work closely with Game Gym’s events team to make the Summer Bash a success.
About you: You are a jack of all trades and don’t get flustered easily. You love live events and the excitement and pressure that goes along with them. You have one eye on the details and one eye on the big picture. You work well in a team and can tackle anything we throw at you.
Production/Broadcast Intern (remote and Game Gym Office)
About the position: Game Gym is looking for a Broadcast Intern to help with our live broadcasts and content related to said broadcasts. You will work within our production department to make sure our broadcasts are top-notch, cutdowns are timely and effective, and content gets uploaded with thumbnails accurately. Interns will directly assist with live broadcasts and the preparation and will be needed onsite.
About you: You come with a base knowledge of rocket league and a desire to learn what goes into broadcasts. You are a fast learner, cool under pressure, and appreciate work that goes into the “back end” of a broadcast.
Social Media Intern
About the position: Game Gym is looking for a Social Media intern to help with message crafting, promotions, and planning. You will work closely with Game Gym’s Social Media Manager to build out and execute a social media plan for the Spring. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to coordinate asset creation, promotions, and other important announcements.
About you: You come with a love of social media and an understanding of the gaming and esports worlds. You value storytelling, high-quality work, and how social media can bring people together and build community.
Web Development Intern
About the position: Game Gym is looking for a web development intern to help build and shape our visitor’s experience on our websites. You will work closely with Game Gym VP of Operations to create and implement a cohesive marketing plan for Game Gym’s Spring Season which includes the District Esports League, the DMV’s Spring Summit, Game Gym’s afterschool and weekend programming and Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference.

Discord Management Intern
About the position: Game Gym is looking for a Discord Management Intern to help run, organize, and monitor Game Gym’s growing Discord Community. Game Gym’s Discord consists of 3000+ competitors, campers, and other communities that have a variety of interests. We are looking for an intern who can post conversation starters, plan events and giveaways, organize the Discord efficiently, and monitor the discord to make sure content stays appropriate.
About You: You are passionate about building communities, community engagement, and thinking outside the box. You don’t mind putting yourself out there and enforcing rules and standards. You are trustworthy and are focused on looking out for others and making sure the community stays safe for all.
