About Game Gym

Game Gym is the conduit through which the local community interacts with esports. We are your friendly neighborhood esports training center, think of us as Average Joe’s gym, but for esports. Our goal is to help people get better at their games, help our community learn healthy gaming habits, and provide a place where gamers, coaches, and parents can play and learn in a safe and creative environment. We run camps, teach classes, celebrate birthdays, and organize tournaments at our headquarters in Rockville, MD.

About the Position

We are looking for a creative and fun Smash Coach for our advanced classes.  We are looking for someone who can think up innovative drills and practice scenarios to keep practice interesting for our Smashers. You will also be expected to assist with FLEX, one of the premier locals in the DMV Smash scene which occurs every other Friday.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a passion for Smash, community building, and mentoring future generation of gamers. You know Smash inside and out and have been playing for a while. You know what it takes to compete at a high level and have competed at Xanadu. In addition to game knowledge, you also have a solid understanding of the grind required to be a good Smash player.
